Itchy Scalp Options

My scalp itches, but in a normal way. I can see the dandruff, which is annoying. So, I started scouring the Web for options. I can't endorse any of these methods as I haven't tried them all, but here's what I found:

  1. Hi Shari,

I must tell you, if you haven't used Nizoral shampoo, give it a try. You will see results after the first shampoo. I had the same problem with flakes-not so much with the itch tho-It is wonderful! my scalp doesn't even flake when I have my reti's done. And, it smells nice too.

  3. Thank you for the suggestions. I do remember reading about Nizoral shampoo on the lockitup board. Never heard of Sulfer 8 but now I'll check it out. I'm still using that sisterlocks shampoo. I wonder if I can try a new type of shampoo at six months?

  4. I began having severe reactions to most other shampoos and conditioners. My dermatologist did some patch testing with Made From Earth's Tea & Protein Shampoo and my skin is so sensitive to many ingredients in just about everything. I am very sensitive to smells as well and this one was not so strong. I was hesitant because tea tree oil can be pretty pungent but it was actually quite pleasant. The Made from Earth products are fabulous. I honestly didn't know what I was going to do when I found their shampoo and conditioner.
